Monica is a vibrant and creative stylist at Salonovation, known for her colorful personality, easy-going spirit, and quick wit. Whether she’s needlepointing with rich fibers and hues or making her clients laugh in the chair, Monica brings warmth and authenticity to everything she does. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s busy chasing around her three kids, exploring historical fiction, or daydreaming about a quiet moment in a small coastal bookstore with her husband, Mike.

Monica loves hearing people’s stories and forming meaningful connections—it’s one of the things she values most about her work. She’s also a strong advocate for children, inspired by her own experience adopting one of her sons through foster care. Her ideal Saturday night includes sushi takeout (the caterpillar roll from Mojo’s is her go-to), and her current goal is to start a vegetable garden she can enjoy with her family. Described by her coworkers as “messy, very left-handed, and always chill,” Monica lives by the motto, “Just laugh, it’s only life.” And if laughter is medicine, she’s got plenty to go around.
